被認為有害
「被認為有害」（英語：Considered Harmful）一詞是至少65篇計算機科學及相關學科領域重要論文均在標題中使用的一個短語模板。[1]其起源可以追溯到1968年艾茲赫爾·戴克斯特拉的文章《Go To語句被認為有害》（Go To Statement Considered Harmful）。
歷史 編輯
「被認為有害」一詞由艾茲赫爾·戴克斯特拉發表在1968年3月的ACM通訊（CACM）上的《Go To語句被認為有害》中首次出現[2][3]，他在文章中批評了當時GOTO語句的過度使用，並提出用結構化程式設計替代。[4]提交給ACM通訊的原標題實際上是《反對GOTO語句一例》（A Case Against the Goto Statement），但ACM通訊的編輯尼克勞斯·維爾特將標題修改為了前者。[5]尼克勞斯·維爾特其實以新標題調侃了「後藤英一博士（其姓氏英文為Goto）高興地抱怨他總是被淘汰。」[6]
弗蘭克·魯賓隨後於1987年3月的ACM通訊上發表了對此文章的評論，題為《〈Go To語句被認為有害〉被認為有害》（'GOTO Considered Harmful' Considered Harmful）。[7]1987年5月ACM通訊又以《〈《Go To語句被認為有害》被認為有害〉被認為有害？》（'"GOTO Considered Harmful" Considered Harmful' Considered Harmful?）為標題刊載了更多正反雙方的評論。[8]戴克斯特拉本人則在題為《論一個有點令人失望的通訊》（On a Somewhat Disappointing Correspondence）中回應了相關爭議。[9]
實際上在《Go To語句被認為有害》一文發表前，「被認為有害」已經是記者常用的陳詞濫調，例如早在1949年紐約時報就曾刊登過《倉促立法被認為有害》的頭條。[10]
