聖巴斯弟盎聖殿 (馬尼拉)
聖塞巴斯弟盎聖殿是一座羅馬天主教宗座聖殿，位於菲律賓馬尼拉奎阿坡區 Claro M. Recto街東端的 Cármen廣場[1]。

聖塞巴斯弟盎聖殿建成於1891年，是一座哥特復興式建築，亞洲唯一的全鋼結構教堂。[2] 它也被譽為是世界上第一座預製建築[3]、世界唯一鋼鐵預製教堂[4]。2006年，聖塞巴斯弟盎聖殿被列為世界遺產預備名單。於1973年被菲律賓政府指定為國家歷史名勝[5][2]。
歷史 編輯
該教堂最初為木結構，建於1621年，1651年華人起義期間被焚毀。隨後的磚砌建築，分別於1859年，1863年和1880年毀於火災和地震[1]。
在19世紀80年代，本堂神甫埃斯特萬·馬丁內斯，和西班牙建築師帕拉西奧斯計劃興建一座完全由鋼鐵建成的防火、抗震建築。帕拉西奧斯完成了設計，融合了地震巴洛克與新哥德式風格[1]。他最後的設計據說受到了著名的哥德式建築西班牙布爾戈斯主教座堂的啟發[1]。
1890年6月24日該堂即獲得宗座聖殿地位[5]。次年聖殿才完成建造，8月16日舉行祝聖儀式。[5]。

Near where Recto Avenue becomes Mendiola Street is San Sebastián Church, reputedly the only prefabricated steel church in the world.
