墨蝶呤還原酶 (L-蘇式-7,8-二氫生物蝶呤形成)(EC 1.1.1.325)是一種氧化還原酶,其系統名稱為L-蘇式-7,8-二氫生物蝶呤:NADP+氧化還原酶。[1][2]該酶催化以下化學反應:
- (1) L-蘇式-7,8-二氫生物蝶呤 + NADP+ 墨蝶呤 + NADPH + H+
- (2) L-蘇式四氫生物蝶呤 + 2 NADP+ 6-丙酮酰基-5,6,7,8-四氫蝶呤 + 2 NADPH + 2 H+
這種細菌(Chlorobaculum tepidum)酶催化GTP從頭合成四氫生物蝶呤的最後一步。
