它由亞當·福特（Adam Ford）創建於2016年3月1日[4][5]，總部位於佛羅里達州朱庇特。推出後不久，《巴比倫蜜蜂》就因在三一電視台創始人揚·克勞奇去世當天嘲諷她的「健康與財富」神學而登上頭條。[1]
