白血球介素-4
白血球介素-4(白介素-4, Interleukin-4, IL-4)是II型輔助T細胞(Th2細胞)分泌的細胞因子。白血球介素-4的生物作用,包括刺活化化B細胞和T細胞增殖、 CD4+T細胞分化成II型輔助T細胞. 它也在調節體液免疫和適應性免疫中起關鍵作用。白血球介素-4誘導B細胞抗體類別轉換向IgE,上調第二型主要組織兼容性複合體的產生。這一因子是由M.霍華德、W.保羅和E. 委特塔(Vitetta)在1982共同發現的。四年後人類白血球介素-4的核苷酸序列中被分離,證實它與一小鼠蛋白B細胞刺激因子-1(BCSF-1)類似[4].
