英格蘭超級足球聯賽賽季最佳球員

英格兰的一项足球奖项

英格蘭超級足球聯賽賽季最佳球員是英格蘭的一項足球獎項，每年頒發一次，頒給在當賽季英超聯賽中發揮最出色的球員。獲獎者是由聯賽贊助商組織的一個「包含足球管理機構、媒體和球迷」的小組選出，評選結果在每年的5月第二或第三周公佈[A][1][2]。因贊助商冠名，該獎在1994-2001年被稱為卡爾靈（英語：Carling Brewery）賽季最佳球員，2001-2004年，被稱為巴克萊信用卡賽季最佳球員[3]，2004-2016年被稱為巴克萊賽季最佳球員[4]，2016年後，被稱為EA賽季最佳球員。

英超聯賽創立於1992年，當時英格蘭甲級聯賽的球隊脫離了英格蘭足球聯賽系統，建立了一個商業上獨立的聯賽，自主與轉播商和贊助商談判[4]。1992-93賽季，英超聯賽沒有贊助商，直到1993-94賽季，才與卡爾靈簽訂了4年1200萬英鎊的贊助合約[5]，也是在這個賽季，英超金靴獎等個人獎項開始創立[6]，但賽季最佳球員這一獎項在1994-95賽季才開始頒發[7][8]，第一位獲獎者是布力般前鋒阿倫·舒利亞，他在這一賽季隨隊獲得英超冠軍，並獲得金靴獎[8][9]。
