大比目魚號核潛艇
大比目魚號是美國海軍1950年代建造的一艘試驗用核潛艇，一開始編號為導彈核潛艇的SSGN-587，後來變為攻擊型核潛艇的SSN-587。它是美國海軍第二艘以大比目魚命名的潛艇。它於1957年4月11日於加州瓦列霍的邁爾島海軍船廠鋪設龍骨，1959年1月9日下水由加州參議員Chet Holifield的妻子命名。1960年1月4日服役，艦長是Walter Dedrick少校。儘管它一開始建造時規劃成普通柴電潛艇，建完時卻用上了核動力。
