氢气海洋行星

氢气海洋行星[1](英语:Hycean planet,Hycean 是由 hydrogen 和 ocean 两个英文字合成一个新名词),是一种假设的宜居行星,描述为热的、由覆盖表面的行星,它的大气层含有大量气,可能能够孕育生命。[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]据研究人员称,根据行星密度,氢气海洋行星可能包括类地的超级地球以及迷你海王星(如K2-18b)[12],因此,预计系外行星种群中的数量会很多。[2] 氢气海洋行星可能“比之前考虑的宜居行星要大得多,半径为2.6 R⊕(2.3 R⊕),质量为10 M⊕(5 M⊕)”。[2]此外,此类行星的宜居带(HZ)可能“比类地行星的HZ宽得多”。地球望远镜太空望远镜可能很快就会研究海斯行星的生命印迹,例如计划于 2021 年晚些时候发射的詹姆斯·韦伯太空望远镜 (JWST)。[2][11]
