慢生根瘤菌屬
硝化杆菌科的一属细菌
慢生根瘤菌屬(學名:Bradyrhizobium)為生絲微菌目硝化桿菌科的一屬好氧或兼性厭氧發酵型革蘭氏陰性桿菌。杆狀。細菌在寄主植物的根部膨大生成根瘤,可將大氣氮固定到結合狀態氮(氨)為寄主植物所利用。有的菌株在特定條件下以游離狀態固定大氣氮。此屬的模式種為大豆慢生根瘤菌(Bradyrhizobium japonicum)。
