2006年，《紐約時報》稱之為印度最豪華的頂級酒店之一[3]，弗羅默旅行指南稱之為「次大陸最佳酒店」，「不只是美麗，更是驚艷。」[1] 2008年，Discovery Travel and Living系列列出55座五大洲的夢幻酒店，而印度僅有的另兩座酒店就是烏代布爾的湖之宮殿和齋浦爾的倫巴宮殿[4]。
