Note that this template is for text specifically in Nynorsk.

Norwegian that does not differ between standard forms should use {{lang-no}}. Similarly {{lang-nb}} can be used for Bokmål texts, but separate ISO 639 codes — and, thus, language templates — do not exist to differentiate between Riksmål and Høgnorsk; these should be tagged using {{lang-no}}.
