人民运营商（英语：The People's Operator，缩写TPO）是一间移动虚拟运营商，分别在英国和美国透过EE以及史普林特公司提供移动电话服务。该公司在上市第一年到2016年间股价下跌了近90%。[1]

人民运营商成立于2012年11月19日，由三名创始人安德鲁·罗森菲尔德（英语：Andrew Rosenfeld）、汤姆·古特里奇和马克·艾普斯坦共同拥有。[2]其总部位在伦敦肖迪奇，罗森菲尔德为主席，艾普斯坦为副主席，首席执行官则由艾力克斯·法兰克斯担任。[3][4]

2014年1月20日，TPO宣布维基百科的创始人吉米·威尔士领取250,000英镑的年薪加入此组织，[5]作为董事会联合主席，并决定“采取战略性的商业手法”，威尔士认为：“TPO具有巨大的潜在增长，将会需要更多的钱来满足人民和社区的需要。”[6][7]

TPO在2014年一月宣布，在未来的12个月，它将进入更广泛的美国和欧洲市场。[6][8] 在2014年十月，该公司宣布它打算在伦敦的另类投资市场上市。据奥斯卡·威廉-格拉特预估，该公司股票会由100万英镑起跳。[9]

作为一个移动虚拟运营商，TPO不拥有任何网络基础设施，而是使用EE在英国提供其服务[2]（但一开始没有承认），[16]并在美国使用史普林特网络。它经由Transatel连接到EE网络。[4]

TPO有提供预付手机的服务。[2]该组织没有线上存储、运行的功能，但是它有调用中心。[17]2016年，TPO宣布它将抛弃EE，改使用Three UK（英语：Three UK）的网络，这将让其客户可享受LTE 4G的服务。[18]

TPO基金会 编辑
