加拿大人民党

加拿大人民党（英语：People's Party of Canada，法语：Parti populaire du Canada；简称PPC）是加拿大一个联邦层面政党，于2018年9月14日由前加拿大保守党党员卞聂尔创立。人民党的意识形态定位被外界形容为保守主义[14]、自由意志主义[5]、民粹主义[15]和古典自由主义[16]，立场则为右翼[17]至极右翼[10][11][12][13]。人民党曾经只有党魁卞聂尔一人在魁北克博斯选区握有一个国会席位，然而由于在2019年联邦大选中完全落败，就连党魁所在的博斯选区也输给了保守党候选人。[18]

人民党的另外一个标志

卞聂尔原为加拿大保守党党员，2006年代表该党赢取魁北克省的博斯选区后成为下议院议员，并曾于保守党执政期间出任工业部长和外交部长等内阁职务。保守党于2015年联邦大选中失掉执政地位，哈珀辞任党魁，该党遂于2017年举行党魁选举。卞聂尔竞逐党魁，经历13轮投票后最终败于谢尔，而卞聂尔则于2018年宣布退出该党。他在退党声明中表示自己意识到保守党“在智慧和道德上皆过于腐败，并不能将之改革”，又谓保守党在谢尔领导下失掉原则[19]。他又于《国家邮报》撰文，重申他认为保守党没有改革余地的立场，并表示加拿大需要一个新政党[20]。

卞聂尔的言行招来部分保守党党员批评，前总理哈珀和马尔罗尼皆指责他试图分裂加拿大的右翼政治光谱[21][22]。卞聂尔则谓他希望吸引政治冷感选民，指出“百分之20民众不去投票”，又称马克龙成功吸引该批选民造就他当选法国总统[23][24][25]。他后来又称2018年新不伦瑞克和魁北克省选皆显示选民对传统政党感到厌倦，并渴望有新政党可供选择[24][26]。

卞聂尔离开保守党前与于2017年党魁选举中支持他的党员恢复联络，当中部分认为他有足够支持另立新党并将之与加拿大选举局注册[27]。法语报章《Le Devoir》报道指有七个保守党选区协会的成员转投卞聂尔阵营[28]。卞聂尔于2018年9月14日正式宣布组建新党，并将之称为人民党[29]。此后不久，加拿大自由意志党党魁莫恩（Tim Moen）表示可以考虑该党与人民党合并，以便加快筹款和提名候选人[30]，然而卞聂尔表示没有兴趣合并两党[31]。

人民党于2018年10月10日正式向加拿大选举局呈交注册文件[32]，卞聂尔则于同年11月表示人民党已招募逾三万名党员[33]。人民党于同年11月11日被评合乎资格，并于2019年1月19日正式获加拿大选举局注册。人民党于2019年2月15日首次参选，其候选人竞逐魁北克省乌特蒙选区（Outremont）、安大略省约克－锡姆科选区（York-Simcoe）和不列颠哥伦比亚省伯纳比南选区的下议院议席补选。该党于伯纳比南选区获取10.9%选票，在乌特蒙和约克－锡姆科选区则各获取1.5%选票[34]。

2019年联邦大选期间，贵湖大学称人民党贵湖选区候选人Mark Paralovos“主张白人至上主义”，并取消了他参加在该大学举办的辩论的资格。[35]
