查尔斯·温特沃思·阿珀姆
查尔斯·温特沃思·阿珀姆（英语：Charles Wentworth Upham；1802年5月4日—1875年6月15日）是美国政治家与历史学家，曾任美国众议员、马萨诸塞州参议院议长、马萨诸塞州塞勒姆第七届市长，也曾两度担任马萨诸塞州众议员。同为美国众议员的乔治·B·阿珀姆与贾贝兹·阿珀姆是他的堂兄弟。阿珀姆也致力于1692年的塞勒姆审巫案历史研究。

查尔斯·温特沃思·阿珀姆于1802年5月4日出生于英属加拿大新不伦瑞克殖民地的圣约翰，他的父亲是新不伦瑞克最高法院法官约书亚·阿珀姆上校（Col. Joshua Upham；1741年－1808年），母亲玛丽·钱德勒（Mary Chandler）是上校的第二任妻子。
1821年，他进入哈佛大学就读，在校期间曾是坡斯廉俱乐部的成员[1]。阿珀姆与思想家拉尔夫·沃尔多·爱默生在大学时期曾是同班同学与朋友，但他后来却成为了爱默生等人所提出的超验主义的反对者。他曾设计让纳撒尼尔·霍桑丢掉海关大楼的工作[2]，也曾安排将琼斯·维里送进精神病院麦克林医院[3]。参议员查尔斯·萨姆纳曾如此评论阿珀姆：“那个圆滑、笑容满面又油腻的天选之人”（that smooth, smiling, oily man of God）[2]。
1826年3月29日，阿珀姆与牧师阿比尔·霍姆斯的女儿安·苏珊·霍姆斯（Ann Susan Holmes）成婚，后来成名的美国诗人兼医学家老奥利弗·温德尔·霍姆斯是他的小舅子。阿珀姆夫妇定居于马萨诸塞州塞勒姆，夫妻俩共生下15个儿女，但只有4个活到成年：小查尔斯·温特沃思·阿珀姆（Charles Wentworth Upham Jr.；1830年－1860/1861年）、威廉·费尼尔司·阿珀姆（William Phineas Upham；1836年－1905年）、莎拉·温德尔·阿珀姆（Sarah Wendell Upham；1839年－1864/65年）与奥利弗·温德尔·霍姆斯·阿珀姆（ Oliver Wendell Holmes Upham；1843年－1905年）。
