科里·布克
科里·安东尼·布克（英语：Cory Anthony Booker；1969年4月27日—），是美国一位民主党政治人物，自2013年成为新泽西州的联邦参议员。

布克出生于华盛顿特区，在新泽西州博根县的哈灵顿柏克长大。他的兄长名为Cary Booker II，父亲名为Cary Booker。[1] 进入史丹佛大学后，他参与了大学橄榄球和取得政治学文学士及社会学文学硕士，同时获得罗德奖学金进入牛津大学就读；亦在耶鲁法学院得到法律博士学位。他毅然搬家到犯罪率高的纽瓦克市中心贫民窟长住，作为租户的代表律师。[2] 布克的母语为英语，也能讲流利的西班牙语[3]，曾在2017年8月前往哥斯达黎加进修外语[4]。
政治生涯 编辑
布克的政治生涯在1998年于纽瓦克市议会开始，2002年他尝试参选市长，唯输给时任市长夏普·詹姆斯；后来在2006年布可再次参选，终击败副市长罗纳德·赖斯当选为纽瓦克市长。在市长任期里，其工作重点是减少犯罪，并鼓励经济发展项目；并因他亲自参与公共服务，特别是他使用社交媒体，如Twitter跟选民沟通而在全国获得声誉。他与陆天娜是朋友。[5][6]
考虑到布克是在新泽西州最突出的民主党人之一[7]，他成为了美国参议院2013年特别选举继承死于任内的弗兰克·劳滕伯格之民主党被提名人之一。2013年8月13日他在民主党初选胜出，又于2013年10月16日的大选击败史蒂夫·洛根当选为新泽西州第一名黑人联邦参议院议员；他在接下来的定期选举亦胜过杰夫·贝尔连任。
迪克·德宾记得2018年1月11日于椭圆形办公室，特朗普在评论萨尔瓦多、洪都拉斯、海地及非洲国家（英语：African nations）之时讲说 " 这些屎洞向我们发送他们不想要的人 (Those shitholes send us the people that they don’t want)" [9]。官方并没有否认，也有人认为特朗普不是讲 "shit hole" 而是讲 "屋外厕所（shit house）"[10]。此事导致布克 一星期内 大发雷霆[11][12]。

他提出枪支拥有者应需要申请牌照。[14] 在辩论期间，被问到对于美国枪械暴力问题的看法，他回答:
我活在这问题的紧迫感当中，因为当我回家 ... 这些枪声每天都真 (I am living with a sense of urgency on this problem because when I go home ... these gunshots, are real every single day)[15]
这些事件以全世界罕见的方式发生 ... 人民能容易地获得 这些破坏性武器 让我们变得独特 (These incidents happen in a way that is unusual in the entire world ... what makes us unique, is the ease with which people can get their hands on these weapons of destruction)[16]
出席参议院听证会时，他说：
已死于枪暴的人 多于 我们国家历史上的每个战争 (there are more people that have died of gun violence than in every single war in our nation’s history)[17]
