戈麦斯出现在广播节目《On Air with Ryan Seacrest（英语：On Air with Ryan Seacrest）》中，并告诉瑞安·西克雷斯特：“她有100万个想法，它会变得更酷，而且会变得更强大，而且会变得更好”[6] 。后来她在今夜秀上告诉吉米·法伦，这张专辑会有强烈的流行感，她也尝试了电吉他。她还告诉法伦，她花了四年的时间才能在这张专辑中感觉很好[7]。
