废警运动

废警运动（英语：Police abolition movement），是主张以警队以外的其他公共安全体系取代。

在美国，废警运动是主张以警队以外的其他公共安全体系取代美国既有警察机构的政治运动[1]。废警主义者有别于警队改革派，其深信警务体系存在固有缺陷，无法透过改革根除[2]。当改革派试图从警务执行的方式着手时，废警派则寻求透过解散警队、剥夺警权、卸除武装的方式整顿整个警队[3]。
2020年明尼苏达州明尼阿波利斯市警局执法过当引发乔治·佛洛伊德之死并燃起全美示威活动后，“废除警队”（Abolish the police）或“削减警费”（Defund the police）成为了示威口号之一，而抗争发源地的明尼阿波利斯市议会产生了解散该市警局的构思。市议会议长丽莎‧班德主张再“重新创造一个可以真正维护大众安危的公共安全系统”[4]。

在2019年起的反对逃犯条例修订草案运动，废警是香港抗议者的其中请求。其标语解散警队，刻不容缓在很多地区抗议中出现。[5][6]
