菲律宾语言
菲律宾语言包括菲律宾所有使用中的语言。依据不同分类方法，菲律宾有120到175种语言和方言[5] 。几乎全属于马来-波利尼西亚语族，仅有零星例外，如查瓦卡诺语是一种来自罗曼语族的克里奥尔语。菲律宾有两种官方语言（英语和菲律宾语）。而截至2017年，有19种官方辅助语言（地区语言）[4]。若包括第二语言的使用者，使用菲律宾语的人口还是多于英语[6]。

现今菲律宾本土文字（如库利坦字母、塔格班瓦字母等）的使用很少；主要由于西班牙和美国的殖民地经验，菲律宾语言今日大多使用拉丁字母。然而，最著名的菲律宾本土文字贝贝因字母仍存在一些官方应用，用来书写菲律宾钞票上“Pilipino”一词。另外，菲律宾南部一些穆斯林地区也使用阿拉伯字母。
