兰开斯特轰炸机

兰开斯特轰炸机(英语:Avro Lancaster)是英国二次世界大战期间非常重要的战略轰炸机之一,担负对德国城市的夜间轰炸任务。在执行三处德国水坝的轰炸任务之后获得水坝克星Dam Buster)的昵称。

英国皇家空军在1936年提出P.13/36双发动机中型轰炸机的设计案,爱芙罗公司提出以劳斯莱斯设计的秃鹰24汽缸发动机为动力的设计案,被称为曼彻斯特轰炸机。由于秃鹰发动机的测试过程相当不顺,爱芙罗提议以4具劳斯莱斯的梅林发动机加上曼彻斯特的机体结合而成新的轰炸机。实际上,1941年1月试飞的第一架原型机的机身,中段与尾部都是直接使用曼彻斯特的结构。

设计特点 编辑

机身结构 编辑

其机身结构尚称坚固,但其最大的缺点来自其设计上的问题。由于设计为负责晚间轰炸上(日间轰炸的伤亡率战争初期已经领教过),这型轰炸机并未装设机腹炮塔(其实早期有,不过因为效果不大取消),对于下方来的敌机,无法反击。德国空军(Luftwaffe)的夜间战机部队很快就就发现这项弱点。他们往往从后下方接近此型机,然后利用倾斜式机炮摧毁此轰炸机。不过总括来说,夜间难以发现对方,即使能够,如果兰开斯特的机枪手能够提前发现,会避免开火及通知机长,然后机长会使用此型号较优越的机动性避开。在晚间,一旦脱离目视接触,便很难发现对方。即使有雷达等手段,仍然需要看见才可以开始攻击。在逃生方面,此型的逃生出口比较小,较难跳机逃生。但在炸弹承载量上可谓二战中数一数二,高达9500Kg载弹量令她远胜B-17和B-24,甚至略高于B-29。

勃朗宁机关枪(7.7)x8 分别位于机尾炮塔(x4),机背炮塔x2以及机鼻炮塔(x2) 后期机尾炮塔实验性加装雷达系统可自动追踪,一般装设在编队尾的飞机上。

主要生产次型 编辑

Mk I 编辑

Mk I是兰开斯特量产的第一型,使用梅林XX,22或者是24型发动机,一共生产3440架。

Mk I特别型 编辑

改良自Mk I,用来携带超过12000磅(5443公斤)的炸弹。

Mk I(FE) 编辑

Mk I的远东区改良型。

Mk II 编辑

这一型改用布里斯托尔大力士VI或者是XVI型发动机。一共生产320架。

Mk III 编辑

改回使用梅林28、38或224型发动机。一共生产3020架。

Mk III特别型 编辑

改良自Mk III,用以携带Upkeep水雷。

Mk VII 编辑

将机身上方的马丁炮塔与机尾的FM82炮塔调整位置,一共生产180架。

Mk X 编辑

由加拿大胜利飞机公司生产,使用佩卡德生产的梅林38或224型发动机,一共出厂430架。

英国是二战期间的使用国家,除了轰炸任务以外,也担任电子干扰和海上巡逻等其他种类的任务。

法国在二战之后使用兰开斯特到1960年代为止。

阿根廷自英国购入少量兰开斯特,成为他们唯一使用过的战略轰炸机。
