香港大学校歌

香港大学校歌（英语：University Anthem）实际上也是一首赞美诗歌，全曲一共分为四段，于1912年3月11日大学及本部大楼开幕典礼时首演。

历史

该校歌由当时的圣约翰座堂管风琴师典曼·傅勒（Denman Fuller）作曲，署任辅政司的前港督金文泰爵士以拉丁文填词而成。港大校歌于1912年3月11日本部大楼开幕典礼，由圣约翰座堂合唱团与其他合唱团进行首演^[1]。直至20世纪30年代，大学的正式场合均沿用此校歌。但战后被淡忘，存放于大学档案处的校歌乐谱。^[2]^[3]^[4]

2011年，原版校歌由香港大学音乐系主任陈庆恩博士从原创部分重新编曲，在港大百周年校庆晚宴上经重新编曲后首度重演^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]。

2014年2月7日，《港大礼赞》音乐会由香港大学学院艺术家、香港小交响乐团艺术总监叶咏诗重新谱曲，并在叶咏诗指挥下，于香港大学百周年校区李兆基会议中心大会堂内，联同香港小交响乐团、拔萃男书院合唱团、拔萃女书院合唱团及香港大学学生会合唱团演出。^[2]^[3]^[4]

歌词

金文泰爵士是拉丁文诗歌的作者。他于1925年至1947年担任香港大学校长。^[4]
