鲍伯·雷蒙

罗伯特·葛兰维尔·雷蒙（英语：Robert Granville Lemon，1920年9月22日—2000年1月11日），为美国职棒大联盟的投手和总教练。他在1976年入选美国棒球名人堂。

雷蒙17岁时便加入了印地安人体系，并在1941年登上大联盟。1943年至1945年间，雷蒙因为参与服役而缺席了3年职棒生涯。

1948年世界大赛，雷蒙拿下2胜，帮助印地安人拿下世界大赛冠军。1954年，他更是以23胜7败缔造了印地安人队史纪录。

雷蒙高中时就有在打棒球，并担任球队的游击手。[1]他在17岁时就和印地安人签约，并开启了他的职业生涯。[2]

大联盟生涯 编辑

1941年9月9日，雷蒙登上大联盟，不过他是以三垒手的身份出场。[3]该年他出赛5场比赛，5个打数敲出1支安打。[4]当时他和另一名新秀捕手Jim Hegan同时升上大联盟。[5]:p.109不过到了1942年，雷蒙整年一支安打都打不出来。[6]1943年至1945年间，雷蒙和Hegan都去美军服役而缺席了三个球季。[7]他也在加入美军前结婚。[1][8]

1946年，雷蒙回到印地安人，并担任中外野手。4月30日，阵中投手鲍伯·费勒投出无安打比赛。而费勒更是将他的无安打归功于雷蒙优异的守备。[9]不过到了球季末，雷蒙开始改练投手。[8]当时雷蒙在服役期间就曾与老虎队的Birdie Tebbetts和红袜队的约翰尼·佩斯基交手过，两人也曾向当时印地安人的总教练卢·布德罗建议让雷蒙改练投手。[1][10]

为此，布德罗还曾向军中同袍，同时也是洋基队捕手的比尔·狄奇询问。而狄奇也非常乐见雷蒙担任投手一事，[11]:p.86于是布德罗请投手教练梅尔·哈德教导雷蒙投球。[11]:p.93[12][13][14]:p.381946年，雷蒙虽然只拿下4胜5败，不过防御率只有2.49。隔年他出赛37场比赛，其中15场比赛担任先发投手，整年拿下11胜5败。[10]而且他这年还有两场比赛先发至少11局。[15]

全职投手与世界大赛 编辑

1948年球季开打前，球队主席Bill Veeck就给雷蒙加薪。[16]他也成为球队的二号先发。[17][18]6月30日，他投出了无安打比赛。那年他投出美联最多的10场完封胜，[6][19][20]并拿下20胜14败，成功获选为美联年度最佳投手。印地安人也以1场胜差打败红袜进入世界大赛。[21][22][23]

印地安人让鲍伯·费勒担任第一战先发，不过球队以0比1落败。而雷蒙在第二场比赛面对华伦·史潘以4比1夺胜。[24]费勒虽然在世界大赛吞下2败，不过雷蒙在系列赛拿下2胜，防御率仅1.65。[24]成功撑起印地安人投手轮值，也帮助球队4胜2败拿下世界大赛冠军。[25]

而雷蒙的打击能力也不容小觑，1949年8月，他曾缔造打击率2成95，并敲出6轰共11支长打。[26]1950年，雷蒙以单季23胜再次拿下美联年度最佳投手殊荣。[27]1951年，当时雷蒙已经成为联盟的最高薪选手。[28]该年他拿下17胜14败，防御率3.52。[6]1952年，雷蒙拿下22胜11败，防御率2.50是生涯第二低。

1953年开幕战，雷蒙面对白袜队投出1安打完封胜。[29]这年他投出21胜15败，防御率3.36。[6]

1954年，雷蒙以23胜7败拿下美联年度最佳投手，并顺利带领球队闯进世界大赛。当年印地安人在例行赛只有154场比赛的赛程中拿下111胜，写下了美联纪录。[30][31]雷蒙在第一场比赛担任先发，当时印地安人和巨人打完正规9局依旧维持2比2平手，然而雷蒙续投第10局时被Dusty Rhodes敲出再见3分炮输球。[32]在休息两天后，总教练又让雷蒙担任第四场比赛的先发。不过由于休息天数过少，雷蒙无法以最佳状态应战，最后以4比7输球。印地安人4连战遭到横扫出局，而雷蒙吞下2败，防御率高达6.75。[33]

1955年4月，雷蒙拿下5胜0败。[34][35]那年他拿下美联最多的18胜，[6]其中更是连续5场比赛投出完投。1956年9月11日，雷蒙拿下生涯200胜。[36]那年他拿下20胜14败，也是他最后一个拿下单季20胜的球季。1957年8月13日，雷蒙因为手肘出现骨刺整季报销。[37]该年他仅拿下6胜11败，是继1946年后胜率最低的一年。

1958年，雷蒙成为印地安人阵中年纪最大的球员。那年他出赛2场比赛就被送到3A，[38]后来他在5月25日回到大联盟。该年他出赛9场比赛，吞下1败。[39]总计他生涯一共拿下207胜128败，后来球队在7月将他放进让渡名单内。[40]

1959年，雷蒙来到印地安人的春训基地，并告知总教练乔·高登他想从后援投手出发。不过他在3月5日因自认无法跟上年轻人的脚步而宣布退休。[41]于是他转任球队的球探。

雷蒙生涯拿下207胜，另外还敲出274支安打，生涯击出37轰为美联投手史上第二高。[42]:p.1981998年6月20日，球队将雷蒙的21号球衣退休。这也使得当时身穿21号的总教练Mike Hargrove换成背号30号。而雷蒙也是印地安人队史第6位获得此殊荣的球员。[17]

1976年1月22日，雷蒙成功入选名人堂。[43]雷蒙在球员生涯有着一颗非常具宰制力的滑球，这也是为何他能入选名人堂的主要原因。[14]:p.38:p.278

雷蒙在晚年深受中风所苦，他在2000年于加州长滩去世，享年79岁。他的前队友鲍伯·费勒曾说到雷蒙是一名球速不算顶尖，但是控球能力非常好的一位投手。[9]
