1999年迪兹杰地震是1999年11月12日傍晚6点57分（当地时间）发生在土耳其迪兹杰省的强烈地震，震级为MW 7.2级，最大烈度为IX（9）度，震中位于同年稍早发生、造成严重灾情的1999年伊兹密特地震震中东方约100公里处。迪兹杰地震地震造成至少845人罹难，其中迪兹杰、卡伊纳什勒与博卢分别纪录有478人、313人与48人遇难[4]，许多遇难者（特别是卡伊纳什勒的居民）是在地震后暖炉引发的火灾身亡[5]。

土耳其政府在1999年伊兹密特地震后因救灾不力遭受批评，此次地震后迅速组织救灾[6]，并有多国提供救难人员与物资援助[7][8][9]，共计有约2000名救难人员与150只救难犬投入救灾[10]。许多流离失所的灾民暂住在帐篷中，但帐篷不适冬季湿冷的天气[11]。地震后约一年仍有7500人住在帐篷中[12]。
