A24由丹尼尔·卡茨、大卫·芬克尔和约翰·霍奇斯于2012年创立。在加入A24之前，他们都曾在电影和制作方面有广泛的工作经验，然后离开他们目前的职位，共同创立A24 Films，最初专门从事电影发行。
