超级方程式 编辑
2016年2月12日，麦拉伦宣布范多恩将代表{{le|蒲公英车队|Dandelion Racing}}，驾驶本田动力赛车参赛2016年的{{le|超级方程式|Super Formula}}。[1]他在本赛季获得2场分站冠军，并在雨天的富士国际赛车场取得杆位，最终在车手积分榜上名列第4，这更是所有使用本田引擎的车手当中的最佳成绩。
一级方程式赛车 编辑
麦拉伦（2016年至2018年） 编辑
2016年3月31日，在费尔南多·阿隆索于2016年澳洲大奖赛发车严重事故，被裁定不适合参赛后，麦拉伦宣布范多恩将在巴林大奖赛顶替西班牙人上场。[2]范多恩在排位赛中取得第12位，领先队友詹森·巴顿，接着更在正赛取得第10名，成为继2007年美国大奖赛的赛巴斯蒂安·维泰尔后，首位初登场便获得积分的车手。
2016年9月3日，意大利大奖赛前夕，麦拉伦宣布詹森·巴顿将在本赛季结束后退休，并由范多恩顶替他的席位与阿隆索搭档出赛2017年赛季。[3]
2018年9月3日，意大利大奖赛后的隔一天，麦拉伦官方宣布范多恩将于2018年赛季结束后离开队伍。[4]
梅赛德斯（2019年至2022年） 编辑
范多恩在2019年加入梅赛德斯车队担任模拟器车手，2020年起担任车队的测试及替补车手。不过他一直没有机会再次驾驶一级方程式赛车上场，2020年萨基尔大奖赛上，由于刘易斯·汉密尔顿感染新冠缺席比赛，范多恩被梅赛德斯召回围场，但最终车队选择乔治·拉塞尔代替汉密尔顿出赛。
阿斯顿·马丁（2023年至未来） 编辑
2022年11月，阿斯顿·马丁车队宣布范多恩将于2023年赛季加入车队，担任模拟器车手及测试与替补车手。
电动方程式赛车锦标赛 编辑
2018年12月15日，范多恩以HWA车队车手身份参与2018－19年电动方程式锦标赛于沙特阿拉伯的第一个分站赛事，在正赛取得第16名。[5]
2019年3月10日，2018－19年电动方程式锦标赛第五个分站赛事香港电动大奖赛，范多恩在雨天情况下于排位赛中以时间1:11.592取得第1位跻身超级杆位赛。[5]并于超级杆位赛以时间1:11.580取得头位起步。[6]
2019－20年电动方程式锦标赛赛季，范多恩以总成绩第2名完成。[7]
2021－22年电动方程式锦标赛赛季，范多恩首次夺得车手总冠军。
