烏干達陸軍元帥
軍銜歷史
編輯1975年7月17日，時任烏干達總統、烏干達陸軍總司令伊迪·阿敏將國家最高軍銜「陸軍元帥」授予自己[1][2]。官方程序其實是由國防委員會向阿明授予軍銜，但他自己就是國防委員會主席，所以實際上就相當於自己給自己封了個元帥。授銜當天，穆斯塔法·阿德里西少將在首都恩德培的議會大廈舉行的集會上給令伊迪·阿敏戴上了軍銜證章[2]。
目前狀況
編輯截至2023年，烏干達最高軍銜持有者是烏干達總統約韋里·穆塞韋尼，但這一最高軍銜是上將[3]。2021年，烏干達國防部部長查爾斯·恩戈拉曾提議也讓穆塞韋尼晉升為陸軍元帥[4]。烏干達人民防衛軍方面宣佈，待到下次晉升時，穆塞韋尼就將獲得陸軍元帥軍銜。[5]
