釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌（學名：Trueperella pyogenes）是特呂佩爾氏菌屬的下屬物種，別名化膿隱秘桿菌。釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌呈革蘭氏陽性，且是一種非運動性，兼性厭氧的細菌。釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌的細胞通常為0.5×2.0μm，表現為多型或球杆狀。釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌傾向於單獨或短鏈分佈，但有時也會成V形對分佈。^[4]

釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌存在於牛、山羊、馬、麝鹿、豬和綿羊的泌尿生殖系統、消化道和上呼吸道中，可能導致膿腫、乳腺炎、子宮內膜炎和肺炎。^[4]^[5]雖然它可以在厭氧或好氧環境中繁殖，但它最適合含有高（約7%）二氧化碳的環境。^[5]

2011年，隱秘桿菌屬（Arcanobacterium）分裂為兩個屬，即隱秘桿菌屬和特呂佩爾氏菌屬（Trueperella）。^[1]^[6]這個名稱（Trueperella）是為了紀念德國微生物學家Hans G. Trüper而選擇的。^[4]特定名稱「pyogenes」在各種細菌屬中使用，其源自於希臘語「puon」或拉丁語「pyum」以及後綴「-genus（屬）」，合併產生了「pyogenes」，意思是「產生膿液」。^[2]

雖然釀膿特呂佩爾氏菌可以感染各種組織，但它是牛的「夏季乳腺炎」和犬的子宮蓄膿症的最常見原因。
