《Lady (Hear Me Tonight)》以降b小調寫成，節奏為中速，每分鐘128拍，為普通拍子。它採樣了美國樂隊Chic1982年單曲《Soup for One（英語：Soup for One (song)）》的結他元素，該曲由尼爾·羅傑斯和伯納德·愛德華茲創作。自2011年起，Chic將這首歌添加到他們的音樂會曲目列表中，作為與《Soup for One》的混搭歌曲。

視頻開頭是一個剃着光頭的少年走進一家餐廳，他的朋友，一對少年情侶，正在等他。三個人湊齊所有的錢，去二手車經銷店買了一輛車，開着它去參加鄉村集市。三個人在酒吧里看樂隊演奏，然後在休息時間拿起樂器。他們的努力沒有得到讚賞，剃着光頭的少年被人群扔來的酒瓶擊中，之後他們被趕了出去。然後他們偷偷溜進一家汽車旅館，在那裏洗澡睡覺。第二天早上，他們被酒店經理趕了出去，一直開車直到車子拋錨。女孩帶着男孩們走進樹林，他們來到一處懸崖，懸崖上可以看到一座城市，他們驚嘆地凝視着夕陽西下的城市。
