保罗·麦斯卡（爱尔兰语：Paul Mescal，/ˈmɛskəl/，[2][3]1996年2月2日—），爱尔兰男演员，曾在都柏林的剧院演出了《大亨小传》、《求之不得》和《伊尼什莫尔中尉》等戏剧。麦斯卡因在电视迷你剧《普通人》（2020年）中的主演角色而受到赞誉，赢得英国电视学院奖最佳男主角奖并提名黄金时段艾美奖迷你剧集或电视电影最佳男主角。

早期生活
编辑保罗·麦斯卡生于基尔代尔郡梅努斯，母亲狄波拉（Dearbhla）是爱尔兰警察，父亲保罗（Paul）是半职业教师[4][5]。他是家中三个孩子的老大，有一个弟弟和妹妹[6][7]。曾就读梅努斯邮政小学[8]。他是基尔代尔GAA的未成年兼21岁以下的盖尔式足球运动员，也是梅努斯GAA的成员[9][10]。盖尔足球运动员布莱恩·莱西称赞麦斯卡的防守技巧[11]，体能教练钱安·奥尼尔则形容他“体能非常发达、强壮到超出了年龄”[12]。麦斯卡在下巴受伤后放弃了这项运动[13]。他开始将重心放到表演，16岁时首次登台演出，在音乐剧《歌剧魅影》中扮演主演魅影[6][8]。之后录取了都柏林三一学院[14]；2017年毕业，取得文学学士学位[15]。他在毕业前为自己的演艺生涯找了经纪人[14]。
