兽型类
哺乳動物的演化支
兽型类（拉丁语：Theriiformes）是一种哺乳类的演化支。这个概念最先由 Timothy B. Rowe 在他的博士论文里提出[1]，又有在1997年由 McKenna & Bell 写的论文里提及到[2]。兽型类一般定义是异兽亚纲[a]和兽亚纲[b]最近代的共同祖先[3]。对于比较接近兽亚纲而不是多瘤齿兽目的哺乳类，他们一般都会属于枝兽类[4]。因为多瘤齿兽目一般比单孔目更接近兽亚纲，所以属于哺乳类的冠群[5]。
