國際社工日

國際社工日（英語：World Social Work Day），又稱世界社工日，是一個由國際社會工作者聯合會發起的一個慶祝節日，定於每年三月的第三個星期二開展。世界各地的社工團體，會在國際社工日舉辦相關活動，增進公眾對社會工作的了解和認同[1][2]。

歷史

2007年3月27日，在國際社會工作者聯合會成立50周年之際，聯合會組織主席大衛•瓊斯發起「第一個國際社會工作日」[3]，主題為「社會工作為世界帶來改變」[4]。

2008年8月，國際社會工作者聯合會全體會議決定，每年三月的第三個星期二為國際社工日[4]。
