特雷德韋爾農場歷史區

特雷德韋爾農場歷史區（Treadwell Farm Historic District）是一個小型的美國歷史區，位於紐約市曼哈頓上東城，包括第二大道與第三大道之間的東61街和東62街。
特雷德韋爾農場歷史區由紐約市地標保護委員會劃定於1967年12月13日，是該市最早的歷史區之一，[1] 主要是19世紀中後期建造的三層或四層褐石住宅。[2]這裡有天主教和平之后堂（原為長老會救贖主堂）、浸信會三一堂和幾座世紀之交的公寓樓，以房屋高度和建築風格的統一性，以及鄰里的整體特色和魅力而著稱[2]。
特雷德韋爾農場得名於當時擁有土地的特雷德韋爾家族[3] 。在殖民時期，該產業是彼得普拉范贊特農場的一部分。1815年，毛皮商人亞當 特雷德韋爾和Thorne合買了花了13,000美元購買了這片24英畝的土地。[4] 1830年Thorne去世時，特雷德韋爾買下了屬於他的另一半土地。1852年特雷德韋爾去世後，他的女兒伊莉莎白又買下了比克曼產業，[5] 隨後從1854年開始分為許多小塊出售，用於開發。到1868年，合同規定了對於建築物高度、寬度以及建築類型的限制[2]。
特雷德韋爾農場主要開發於1868–76年，主要是帶有第二帝國風格[2]的義大利式聯排別墅建築[1]。 長老會救贖主堂現在是天主教和平之后堂，建於1886年至1887年，東62街245-247號的六層公寓樓建於1899年至1900年。[2]。
在該地區設計建築的著名建築師包括Richard Morris Hunt、Samuel A. Warner、James W. Pirrson和George F. Pelham[2]。
在20世紀20年代，從1919年到1922年，該地區的大部分建築物都發生了重大變化。[6]拆除了許多門廊，建築細節簡化。[1]1930年，在東61街250號建造了由Martin G. Hedmark設計的斯堪地那維亞現代風格的教堂[6]。
