阿曼達·貝內特

阿曼達·貝內特（英語：Amanda Bennett，1952年7月9日—）是一位美國新聞從業員和作家，同時是美國之音前台長。她曾經因為批判民主國家政府事務獲得普立茲獎[1]，被批評因家屬在中國投資而對中國言論溫和。

在美國之音的一次直播中，對參與共產黨內鬥的郭文貴採訪。原計劃的三小時直播，因為阿曼達貝內特避免傷害中國方面榮譽而指令下屬斷播[3]。
美國之音宣布斷播原因為「停電」，並開除了數人[4][5]；公眾不能接受美國之音關於「停電」的聲明[6][7][8]。隨後，美國國會啟動了相關調查[9]。調查結果確定廣播理事會成員中有人瞞報與中國的利益勾結關係，阿曼達·貝內特拒絕承認斷播是受中國政府指使，認為斷播行為就像中國中央電視台一樣根據黨的政策主動審查「平衡報導」行為[10]。
2020年6月15日，阿曼達·貝內特辭去美國之音台長一職。[11]2021年11月12日，美國總統拜登提名她出任美國國際媒體署署長。[12][13][14]
