舞蹈研究

舞蹈研究（英語：dance research）是对舞蹈的研究，包括舞蹈史、民族舞蹈学、舞蹈理论、舞蹈人类学和舞蹈科学。

舞蹈研究学科的诞生并不久远。 1967年，《CORD舞蹈研究年刊》第一卷写道：“…舞蹈研究中最严重的问题之一是研究该领域的文人还不是大学生”。

舞蹈科学是对舞蹈和舞者的科学研究，致力于科学原理在舞蹈中的实际应用，类似于体育科学。其目标是提高表现、减少伤害以及改善福祉和健康。
