法律政策专员 (香港)
法律政策专员[1]（英语：Solicitor General of Hong Kong），香港政权移交前中文名为律政专员（法律政策）[2]，是香港特别行政区律政司（政权移交前为香港律政署）法律政策科的负责人，负责制定法律政策，并就法律问题向律政司司长（政权移交前为律政司）提供建议，并监管该部门的工作人员及立法计划。
历史 编辑
香港律政专员（法律政策）（Solicitor General）的职位是在二战结束后设立的。[3]起初，律政专员（法律政策）担任律政司（Attorney General，今为律政司司长）的副手，并定期出庭。
1979年，设立了法律草拟专员（Law Draftsman）、民事检察专员（Crown Solicitor，现为民事法律专员）及刑事检控专员（Crown Prosecutor）的职位，并取消了律政专员（法律政策）的职位。该职位于1981年恢复，并由它负责法律政策。[4]
1999年，《法律适应化修改条例》（Adaption of Laws Ordinance）具追溯力（至1997年7月1日）的适应化修订将“律政专员（法律政策）”更名为“法律政策专员”，英文名称不变。[5]
- 民事法律专员［Law Officer (Civil Law)］，负责民事法律科，前为民事检察专员（Crown Solicitor）
- 刑事检控专员［Director of Public Prosecutions］，负责刑事检控科，英文名前为Crown Prosecutor
- 法律草拟专员［Law Draftsman］，负责法律草拟科
- 国际法律专员［Law Officer (International Law)］，负责国际法律科
- 维护国家安全检控专员［Law Officer (National Security)］，负责维护国家安全检控科
- 法律政策专员［Solicitor General］，负责宪制及政治事务科，前为律政专员（法律政策）
另有：
- 政务专员［Director of Administration and Development］，负责政务及发展科，并向六个律政专员及他们负责的法律科别提供一般支援
现任法律政策专员 编辑
现任法律政策专员是黄惠冲（Wesley Wong Wai-chung），他于2015年9月获委任。
根据2015年律政司招聘启事上所称，该职位的薪酬为每月201,950港元（高于2000年的162,650港元），连同住房津贴、“假期通行津贴”及其他福利。[7]

法律政策专员上任即自动成为非正式的太平绅士，在任期间可使用JP头衔，离任后即不再持有该头衔， 除非其另外正式获颁授该头衔。
