2024年8月24日，林肯公园展开了一个为期100小时的倒数计时，进一步引发外界对乐团重组的猜测。[4]当倒数结束后，时钟开始反向倒数，并在09:05这个时间点出现短暂故障，让粉丝们推测9月5日会有重大宣布。随后，乐团在社群媒体上确认了这些推测。[5][6][7][8]
