自由意志民主黨人

在美國政治中，自由意志主義民主黨人是指支持自由意志主義的民主黨成員。 [1] [2]

民主黨自由意志派總體更支持民主黨的大多數立場，但他們在各個政治派別中不一定持有相同的觀點；也就是說，他們更有可能支持人們在公眾場合和私生活的自由，儘管是在民主價值觀的背景下進行的。 [3]該派別在意識形態上非常多元化，這也包括保守派和進步派民主黨人。

民主黨自由意志派反對國家安全局進行未經授權的監視。 2013 年，超過一半的眾議院民主黨人（194 人中的 111 人）投票決定，取消對國家安全局電話監控計劃的資助。 [4]
