All You Need Is Love
《All You Need Is Love》为英国乐队披头士的一首单曲，由约翰·蓝侬创作[3][4]。当时英国广播公司邀请乐队为英国写一首曲，乐队在1967年6月25日的直播节目Our World中首次唱此曲，当时估计有26个国家4亿人收看[5]。歌曲也被收录在专辑《奇幻之旅》及在电影《黄色潜水艇》中。

It was an inspired song and they really wanted to give the world a message. The nice thing about it is that it cannot be misinterpreted. It is a clear message saying that love is everything.

Lennon was fascinated by the power of slogans to unite people and never afraid to create art out of propaganda. When asked in 1971 whether songs like "Give Peace a Chance" and "Power to the People" were propaganda songs, he answered: 'Sure. So was All You Need Is Love. I'm a revolutionary artist. My art is dedicated to change.
蓝侬希望以口号的力量来团结人民，不避讳以歌曲作政治宣传。蓝侬在1971年被问及《Give Peace a Chance》、《Power to the People》等歌是否有宣传用途，他肯定回答：“它们和《All You Need Is Love》也是。我是一名变革的艺术家，艺术创作是要改变（人民的意识）。”
歌曲受广大民众欢迎，1967年7月7日在英国发行后占据榜首三星期，7月17日在美国发行后占据榜首一星期[7]。
乐团成员在纪录片 The Beatles Anthology 中接受访问。他们被问及当初Paul和George不肯定此曲是否为Our World创作的；乔治·马丁和Ringo则肯定。节目中Paul回答[8]：
I don't think it was written specially for it. But it was one of the songs we had. ... It was certainly tailored to it once we had it. But I've got a feeling it was just one of John's songs that was coming there. We went down to Olympic Studios in Barnes and recorded it and then it became the song they said, 'Ah. This is the one we should use.' I don't actually think it was written for it.
我不认为当初要作这曲便是要用于Our World中，它是我们众多作品之一...但创作完成后此曲显得极为适用于节目中。而我认为这曲只是John的其中一个创作。我们到奥林匹克录音室录制此曲，人们说：“啊！我们就用这首歌吧。”但我不认为用于节目中是作这曲的原意。

此曲运用了混合节拍：虽和声部分绝大部分皆为

、 、 、 、 、 、 。此曲另一特别的地方是突出的大提琴伴奏，而这种技巧亦不是乐团第一次使用。此曲是G大调，但在主旋律之外附加了不同的和弦，是为乐团常用的衬托技巧。
直播 编辑
在直播中，各乐队成员（除了Ringo）均坐在凳上，身旁有一小型交响乐团。不少相熟的支持者均坐在地上，当中有不少为知名明星，他们在最后一同唱此歌直至片段淡出。当时彩色电视并不流行，片段以黑白形式播放，后来为了用于The Beatles Anthology，片段被加上颜色[9]。
但此次演出并不完全是直播，因一段预先录音被加到片段中，预先录音包括吉他、鼓、交响乐、主唱和唱等等。直播中鼓乐出现少许脱拍，因此Ringo重录了一遍[10]，而John亦认为当时感到紧张，所以他不满意当时的表现，他也在单曲发行前重录了一遍[11][10]。
