2023年4月，消息指奇連·伊士活將本片定為自己的下部電影[4]，尼古拉斯·侯特和東妮·歌莉蒂參與主演談判[5]。次月，兩人確認參演，素兒·德芝和基夫·修打蘭加盟劇組[6][7]，蓋布瑞爾·貝索參與角色談判[8]。6月，萊絲莉·比伯（英語：Leslie Bibb）加盟劇組[9]。11月，基斯·梅辛拿加盟劇組，貝索確認出演[10]。J·K·西蒙斯、埃米·阿奎諾（英語：Amy Aquino）、艾德麗安·C·摩爾（英語：Adrienne C. Moore）和塞德里克·亞伯勒（英語：Cedric Yarbrough）、福山智可子（Chikako Fukuyama）和奧尼克斯·塞拉諾（Onix Serrano）於12月加盟[11][12]。
