WITS Corp. (臺證所：4953), abbreviated as WITS, is a software and technology outsourcing service provider headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan. As a subsidiary of Wistron Corporation, WITS employs 10,000 people globally. The company offers software outsourcing services, technical staffing, business process outsourcing, and product globalization services, catering to IT needs across industries such as semiconductors, finance, manufacturing, and the internet. It competes with companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Infosys, and Cognizant in IT consulting and technical dispatch services.[2]
History
編輯1992: The company was established under the name Sitong Information Technology Co., Ltd. 2002: Wistron Corporation became an investor, with Ching Hsiao, a classmate of Wistron Corporation's Chairman Simon Lin, appointed as the company's head.[3] 2004: The company was renamed Wistron Information Technology & Services (WITS). 2014: The company was listed on the OTC market.[4]
