宿雾市（宿雾语：Dakbayan sa Sugbo；他加禄语：Lungsod ng Cebu），菲律宾中米沙鄢大区下宿雾省的首府，位于宿雾岛东侧的中部，属高度都市化的一级收入城市。根据2015年的人口普查数据，全市约有922,611人口 ，为菲律宾第五人口大城，也是米沙鄢群岛人口最多的城市。

宿雾市为宿雾大都会的中心，该都会区包括宿雾、卡尔卡尔、达瑙、拉普拉普、曼达维、那牙、塔里萨伊、康波斯特拉、康索拉辛、科尔多瓦、里洛安、明拉尼雅和圣弗南多共12个城市。截至2015年，宿雾大都会约有2,849,213人口，就人口、经济和土地面积而言，是仅次于马尼拉大都会的菲律宾第二大都会区。

在地理位置上，宿雾市位处菲律宾的中央地带，北邻巴兰班市和康波斯特拉市，南邻明拉尼雅市和塔里萨伊市，西邻托雷多市，东邻里洛安市、康索拉辛市和曼达维市，并隔马克坦海峡与拉普拉普市所在的马克坦岛相望。

宿雾市是米沙鄢地区最重要的商贸、工业和教育中心，以及菲律宾主要的国际航班中心与航运港口，拥有国内约80%的航运公司，并以闲适宜人的天然海滩和丰富的海产品闻名，是一处风景优美的旅游胜地，有“南方皇后市”之称。作为西班牙人来到菲律宾的第一个定居点，宿雾市同时也是菲律宾历史最悠久的城市暨菲律宾的第一个首都，被认为是基督教在远东的发源地。

文化

宿雾市是菲律宾重要的文化中心，最著名的地标是麦哲伦十字架，现存放在一所小礼拜堂，据称是西班牙航海家斐迪南·麦哲伦在1521年登上菲律宾群岛时设置的。

宿雾市也是颇受欢迎的仙奴诺节（Sinulog）的举办城市，逢一月的第三个星期日举行，以纪念圣婴。

历史

宿雾在西班牙拓殖前已是一个兴盛的村落，与明朝及其他东南亚国家建立了贸易往来，至今仍住有许多华人，并有许多道教建筑。

1521年4月7日，西班牙航海家斐迪南·麦哲伦登上宿雾，受到胡玛邦酋长（Rajah Humabon）夫妇及八百名土著人的欢迎。1521年4月14日，他们获西班牙人施洗，成为首批菲律宾天主教徒。然而，麦哲伦未能完成航海环绕世界一周的壮举，1521年4月27日，他在邻近的麦丹岛遭酋长拉普拉普杀害。

1565年4月27日，米格尔·洛佩斯·德莱加斯皮与奥斯定会传教士安德烈斯·德·乌达内塔登上宿雾。1571年1月1日，莱加斯皮为宿雾更名，由“San Miguel”（圣米格尔）改为“Villa del Santíssimo Nombre de Jesús”（圣名耶稣市）。在这六年间，宿雾是新成立的西属东印度群岛的首府。
