卢旺达航空

卢旺达航空（RwandAir）是一家以卢旺达吉佳利为基地的国家航空公司[1]，成立于2002年，于2003年4月27日正式营运，主要经营国内航线及东非、中非、南非与中东等地的国际航线，近年也开始飞航欧洲地区的航线，其枢纽为吉佳利国际机场。

筹建 编辑

1994年卢旺达大屠杀结束后，当时的卢旺达政府一直打算重新开设一间新的国家航空公司，以取代因大屠杀事件而停运的旧卢旺达航空。

在1997年，乌干达的联盟航空曾一度表示有意与卢旺达政府合作，以开辨公私合营的新卢旺达航空[2]，但最终该公司在2000年倒闭，合营计划亦因而告吹，改为由政府独资筹建。直至2002年12月1日，新卢旺达航空正式以“卢旺达快运航空”名义成立。

2000年代：早年发展及第一次私有化 编辑

自卢旺达快运航空在2003年首航以后，其航点不断扩展，并扩展至经营国外航线。

至2009年6月，“卢旺达快运航空”正式改名为“卢旺达航空”，以强调该公司为一间干线航空公司的形象[3]。翌年，卢旺达航空亦开设飞行常客奖励计划。

而在2000年代内，卢旺达政府亦曾打算将此公司，以标售股权方式实行私有化，并拟于2013年完成。然而，由于未达底价，卢旺达航空的第一次私有化计划最后告吹[4]。

2010年代：持续扩展 编辑

2010-12年间，卢旺达航空分别接收波音737-500[5]、波音737-800[6]及CRJ-900NG客机，当中737-800为该公司首次接收的全新飞机，而CRJ-900NG用于取代机龄较旧的CRJ-200[7]。

在机队方面，此公司于2013年2月开办往返阿克拉、开普敦、哈拉雷、朱巴和桑给巴尔的航线[8]，并于2017年获准开设往返贝宁柯多努的航线[9]。

2015年5月，卢旺达航空正式成为IATA成员[10]。

2020年代：第二次私有化 编辑

于2020年2月，卡塔尔航空正式收购卢旺达航空49%的股权，以实施第二次私有化，而另外51%仍由卢旺达政府持有[11]。至2021年3月，此公司的私有化工作进入最后阶段[12][13]，并于随后完成。
