第38届独立精神奖

第38届独立精神奖（The 38th Independent Spirit Awards）是独立电影（Film Independent）组织以兹奖励2022年电影与电视剧的奖项。2022年11月22日早上7点（ET），由第37届影后泰勒·佩姬（英语：Taylour Paige）与第34届（英语：34th Independent Spirit Awards）最佳男配角入围者劳尔·卡斯提洛，一同于独立电影的YouTube频道上公布电影类入围名单[1]；12月13日，由艾夏·凯特·狄伦公布电视类入围名单[2][3]。颁奖典礼预计于2023年3月4日在圣莫尼卡举行，由哈桑·明哈杰（英语：Hasan Minhaj）主持，IMDb、独立电影的YouTube频道于下午2点开始转播[4][5]。

独立电影组织因应制作成本的上涨，修改了报名资格。自本届起，参赛的电影预算上限从2250美元提高至3000万美元；报名约翰·卡萨维蒂奖（英语：Independent Spirit John Cassavetes Award）的电影预算上限，则提高至100万美元。同时，也移除演员奖的性别分类，改设立电影类最佳主、配角演出与电视类最佳主角演出，并增设电影类最佳突破演出、电视类最佳配角演出两奖[6][7][8]。

发行商A24一共获得24项提名，其中《瞬息全宇宙》以8项提名成为入围大赢家；焦点影业以9项入围居次，其中《塔尔》入围了7项；MUBI与Momentum个别以6项与5项提名追在其后；《晒后假日》获5项提名。该届共有25个国家的作品入围，在所有入围者中，有51%的女性以及33%的黑人、原住民或有色人种；受提名的导演与编剧中，有64%的女性以及34%的黑人、原住民或有色人种；所有受提名的演员中，有70%的女性以及27%的黑人、原住民或有色人种。提名委员会中，有50%的女性、6%的非二元性别者、3%的跨性别者，以及61%的黑人、原住民或有色人种，还有32%的LGBTQ+人士、8%的身心障碍人士[8][9]。
