金牛座V773是在黄道星座金牛座的年轻聚星,位于它的中心区域[7]。这是一颗金牛T星型变星,其视星等范围从10.59到10.95[4],它太黯淡了,因此肉眼看不见。根据各种估计,该系统距离太阳约433光年。它位于林兹1495(Lynds 1495)暗星云的附近[7]。

这个系统在1974年被吕德格伦(a.E.Rydgren)及其同事确认为金牛T星[10]。1983年,从这个来源探测到无线电发射[11]。在1993年,它被发现是一颗双星,角距离约为mas:这两个成员被指定为A和B。成员A被发现是具有51天 150 轨道周期的双线光谱联星。在2003年,发现该系统的第三颗成员,成员C[7],与成员A的角距离为。 256 mas
A–B对的轨道解为B成员提供了出乎意料的高动态质量±0.67 太阳质量,这表明它也可能是一个联星系统 2.69[6]。一颗质量如此之大的恒星光度是太阳的17倍,这与观测到的光学光度不一致。对成员B的光度测定表明,它正沿着视线从尘埃中经历消光。该成员在K波段是可变的,这与轨道上的尘埃团或云一致[2]。
2010年,在金牛座V773系统中观测到了一次扩展的星食。这被解释为成员B的环双星盘从成员A的前面经过。星食遮蔽了成员A 70%的发射,并持续了150天[2]。
